Senior hurlers look to make history

Lads face Bray in semi-final aiming to make senior final for first time 

It's a huge day for our senior hurlers tomorrow (Sunday). They face Bray Emmets in the semi-final of the senior hurling championship. 

If they can beat them and get to the final, it will be the first time our club has reached a decider.

Adult ladies football face 
Rathnew in championship semi-final

Another team in semi-final action this weekend are our adult ladies footballers. Having finished second in their championship group, they face the table-toppers from the other group, Rathnew. 

Unfortunately, the game is on at the same time at a different venue as the senior hurlers' match which leaves supporters facing a dilemma!

Adult camogie on the double

Having two adult teams competing in camogie this year demonstrates the huge strides camogie is making within the club. Both teams were in action this week.

Éire Óg Blue took on Kiltegan at home on Tuesday night and produced a great performance to come away with a result. Éire Óg White travelled to Annacurra. Anyone there witnessed a battle for the ages. Unfortunately, however, we lost out by a point.

Over 30 players represented Eire Óg adult Camogie on the pitch this week, well done to all involved. 

Senior men's footballers bow out of championship 

It was heartbreak for our senior men's footballers last Saturday as they exited the senior championship at the quarter-final stage against Kiltegan. 

The team found themselves seven points down at the break but with the breeze behind them and with some great score-taking, they edged a point ahead with only a few minutes remaining. 

However, a late penalty for Kiltegan was the decisive moment of the match with the final score ending 1-12: 1-09.

Hard luck to the players and management on what's been a positive year overall.

Lip Sync Battle is coming to Éire Óg

Saturday 23 November in The Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney.

You will train with our professional dance teachers and choreographers for six weeks to guide you in your performance tuition.
