Adult ladies footballers ready for the final!

It's the big one tomorrow (Saturday, 5 October) for our adult ladies footballers. It all comes down to 60 minutes when they play Arklow Gers/Ballymoney in the Junior A football final.

There has been a late change of time and venue. So, remember, the throw-in is now at 11 am in Avondale.

It's going to be a really tough match, one thing that would really help them is a big crowd to cheer them on. So, get down and support!

You can get to know the team by watching the video!

U14 ladies footballers just lose out in county "A" final
It wasn't to be for our U14 ladies football team last weekend. The team lost a
fantastic game of football by two scores.
However, the resilience and skills on display bode well for the future as this team moves onto U16.

Not just a young man's game!

Our intrepid Dads and Lads football group trekked over to the national sports complex last Saturday to participate in the national Dads and Lads blitz.

They took on teams from Louth, Dublin, Kildare and Tyrone (who included a three-time All-Ireland medalist in their ranks!

Dads and Lads is a great way to get some exercise, have fun and meet new people. The group plays on Monday evenings.

Last week’s winning numbers were 13, 16, 17, and 24. The weekly cash prize winners were Sam Thompson and Eoghan O'Lionaigh.

Your mugshot could appear alongside Emer, Eoin and Paula holding a novelty sized cheque too!
