Adult ladies footballers one step away from glory

Convincing semi-final victory sets up final against Arklow

Our adult ladies footballers have booked their place in the final of the Wicklow Junior A football championship.

They achieved this thanks to a comprehensive victory against Rathnew in Wicklow Town last Sunday. The team were dominant throughout and came away with the win on a scoreline of 3-17:06 .

The final is down for 5 October in Aughrim where they will face a tough Arklow side in a rematch from their group phase.

They will need a big crowed there to get them over the line!

They don't have much time to prepare for the final as it takes place on Saturday, 28 September (tomorrow) at 2 pm in Rathnew against Arklow.

Senior hurlers bow out of championship

It wasn't to be for our senior hurlers last Sunday in their bid to make the club's first-ever senior hurling championship final.

Our lads played some really good stuff in the first thirty minutes and were right in at half-time. But Bray went on a bit of a run and pulled away from us in the second half.

Nevertheless, it was a gallant effort by our players and overall, it was a year of progress to get to this stage.

U11 hurlers wrap up season with super display
Our U11 hurlers wrapped up their season with a blitz in Ballinakill last Saturday.
Throughout the season, the lads played some lovely hurling and represented the club fantastically.
Encouragingly, we were one of the few clubs who fielded two teams at the blitz which bodes well for the future.

Club flags, car flags and bunting now on sale!

With so many of our club's teams in finals and knock-out matches, what better way to show your support than by bringing a club flag along to a match?
