Great start for U19 men's footballers

It was a winning start for our U19 men's footballers last Sunday morning.

Backboned by players who played on our adult teams during the season, they recorded a comprehensive victory against Michael Hogans.

They will be aiming to make it two victories from two when they play St Kevins at Páirc Mhic Suain tomorrow Sunday, 8 December at 11 am.

Christmas draw tickets on sale in Tesco

If you're in Tesco this weekend, you can buy tickets for our Christmas raffle from our friendly sellers!

There are lots of great prizes including sizeable cash amounts, weekends away, All-Ireland tickets and more.

In addition to raising funds to support the running of our club and improving our facilities, some of the income from the draw will be donated to Pieta.

There are weekly prize draws every Saturday night ahead of the main draw on 20 December in The Carraig.

Score Rince Set team do club proud!

Our club's representatives at the Leinster Scór finals which took place last Saturday afternoon in Summerhill, County Meath did us proud.

Our club's rine seit team were up against provincial rince seit powers such as Longford’s Abbeylara and The Downs, as well as Wexford’s Ballyhogue.

Despite the undoubted excellence of these three clubs, it was Éire Óg who received the loudest cheer from the audience, and deservedly so. It was The Downs who took the title but, whisper it, in Éire Óg, we may just have gotten a sneak peak of future Leinster rince seit champions!

Collaborating with our local second-level schools is an important aspect of our club's work.

Our two Games Promotion Officers, Sean O'Sullivan and Aoife Murphy, do great work in this regard, as do the schools themselves, to ensure that all three secondary schools compete in the Gaelic Games

It recent days, it was the turn of Greystones Community College to take to the field of play.

The camogie team put in a brave performance against Loreto Bray while the second year boys footballers had a great win away in Wexford against Selskar to advance to the South Leinster semi-final.
