Great success for local schools

Supporting and developing Gaelic Games in our local primary and secondary schools is an important aspect of our club's work. We have two Games Promotion Officers (GPOs) who work with local schools.

On Thursday, Greystones Community College won the Leinster Post Primary Schools South Leinster Boys Junior Football D1 Section 3 final beating Bunclody Vocational School. The game went to extra time finishing 3-15:2-12. There were 11 players from our club on the team too!

Last week, St Brigid's 5th and 6th class boys attended the Cumann na mBunscol Cill Mhantáin football blitz in Bray this week. They won all six games and ended up winning the Conn Ó Dé Cup.

Easter Camp 2025

Our Easter Camp is now open for booking.

For: Club members in U6-U13 age groups
What: Football and hurling/camogie
When: 22-24 April
Time: 10 am-2 pm
Cost: €50
Bring: Lunch, rain gear, hurley, helmet and gumshield.

U13 boys footballers on the treble!

Well done to all the players in our first round of U13 football matches on Saturday and Monday.

All three games featured fantastic performances by the players. Some scorelines didn't reflect these performances, but over the coming weeks, we will see this change.

Our next round of U13 football games is on Monday the 31st. We also have hurling games this Friday and Saturday.

It's already shaping up to be an exciting season for this impressive group of young men!

Youth Committee

As a part of our Dermot Earley Leadership Programme, we are trying to impact our local community. As a group, we've decided to try and implement a youth committee in Eire Og to give the younger members of the club more of a voice. There will be two parts to the survey, 1st part will be for children aged 13+. And the 2nd will be for Parents/Guardians.
