Club camogie players go for All-Ireland glory

All roads lead to Dublin this Saturday for the Eir All-Ireland U16C Camogie Championship final — and we couldn’t be prouder to have Dearbhla Kinsella, Áine Ryan, Grace O’Neill, Jessica Barrie and selector Jim Kinsella representing both our club and county on this massive stage

This is a remarkable achievement for this dedicated group, and for the entire Wicklow panel, who have put in countless hours of hard work to reach this point.

Gaelic for Mothers & Others (G4M&O)

Our G4MOs ladies hit the road to Bray Emmets GAA Club this week to kick off the season!

After a few weeks of brushing off the cobwebs and getting back into the swing of things, it was brilliant to be back on the pitch. Thanks to Bray for the warm welcome and a great game — we had a blast!

If you'd like to get some exercise, learn new skills and have fun, then G4M&Os is for you. No experience neccessary!

U13 hurlers in flying form

As with our football teams at this age grade, our U13 hurlers are also making great early-season strides.

Last week, our Division 1 team had a good win over Carnew 4-05 to 2-03 and our Division 2 team played a narrow 1-point loss to Avondale.

We are the only club with two teams at U13 hurling, so well done to all players and coaches.

Dermot Earely Youth Leadership Programme

Last Sunday, 26 participants presented their Module 2 group projects to parents and facilitators, showcasing the leadership skills they’ve built on the programme.

The projects ranged from homelessness to drug use, sport and health, pollution, and youth representation in Éire Óg.

Participants conducted surveys, interviews, and research, then presented findings and recommendations, handling the many questions that were raised. Participants will carry out individual community projects over the next seven weeks.
