Champions clashes for boys and girls teenage footballers: There are some big games this weekend for both our older teenage football teams this weekend. Today, (Saturday) our U18 girls footballers will be hoping to build on last week’s success when they make the trip to play Carnew while our U19 boys team plays host to Rathnew at home tomorrow in what promises to be a cracker.

Temple Carrig School in Leinster debut: Temple Carrig School took their bow in the Leinster South Junior boys football championship yesterday. They beat Colaiste Croabh Abhainn of Kilcoole in a goal fest with the final score 7-09:2-05. What a great way to mark the school’s first match at Leinster level.
