Social and Awards Night: There was lots of glamour on show on Friday at our annual Dinner Dance, as well as plenty of awards dished out.

Those walking away with gongs included:

  • Player of the Year awards to Hugh O’Neill (Junior Hurling), Padraic O’Keefe (Senior Hurling), Brian Waldron (Junior Football), Fionn O’Carroll (Senior Football), Joellen Hanley (Camogie), Siobhan Darcy (Ladies Gaelic Football), Esther Luttig (Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others) and Christine Hamilton (Social Camogie).
  • Team Player of the Year awards went to Enda Forde (Senior Hurling), Killian Foley (Junior Hurling)
  • Young Player awards went to Colin O’Shea (Junior Football), Joe Prendergast (Senior Football), Sarah Hayes (Camogie), and Katie Burke (Ladies Gaelic Football).
  • Junior football player Darragh Browne got a Special Recognition Award, whilst the overall Club Person of the Year was awarded to Mick Burns.

Adult Camogie Team Advance: Our adult camogie team have progressed to the semi-final of their Leinster league following their match against Dublin club St Mark’s today.

Men’s Senior Footballers Maintain 100% Record: It’s four wins from four for our men’s senior footballers. They had a good win away to Bray Emmets this morning, coming away with a six-point victory. They’ll be aiming to make it five from five when they play Roundwood at home next Friday
