Club News 17 April 2023

Adult Camogie on the Double: This year, for the first time, we have two adult camogie teams operating at Junior A and Junior B level respectively Both were in action over the weekend. What’s more, they both came away with victories. Fielding two adult teams is a real testament to all the great work done in the camogie section over the years. We’re looking forward to following both teams this season.

Go Games Galore: We had another first for the club last week when our U7 Go Games squad took part in their first blitz. Together with the U8s and U9s we had 120 children out playing hurling against Kilcoole and Bray Emmets.

Weekly Lotto: The club’s lotto jackpot now stands at €2,700. Last week’s numbers were 6, 10, 18 & 20. The weekly cash prize winners were Freda McLaughlin and Martin Haugh. Tickets for this week’s draw are available HERE.

Adult Men’s Football: Our adult men’s Junior B (second team) had a great victory yesterday. They rallied in the final third of the match making a great comeback to overhaul Annacurra by a point, winning 2-09:1-11. They showed great resilience and determination. Well done lads.
