Junior Ladies Football Final: It wasn’t to be for our junior ladies’ football team on Saturday in the Junior A final against Kilcoole. Going in at halftime, it was all to play for with the scores tied at two points each. However, Kilcoole managed to pull away in the second half to run out winners. Well done to all the players and management for managing to get all the way to the final. Read a match report HERE.

Junior Finals on the Double: Two of the club’s other junior adult teams will be hoping to go one better as they have reached their finals too. Our junior camogie team had a one-point victory over Kiltegan on Thursday while our junior hurlers had a comprehensive victory over the same opposition on Tuesday. The hurlers play Barndarrig in the final on 14 October in Aughrim. Let’s get a big crowd down to support!

25 Years of LGFA: It’s hard to fathom that ladies Gaelic Football has been in the club for 25 years. To mark this historic milestone, the club is holding an event on 21 October in Greystones Golf Club. It will be an opportunity to reminisce, meet old friends and swap war stories. RSVP Oliver Leonard or Emma Byrne.
