Club News 7 February 2022

New season: Several of our juvenile teams are already back in training and some of our adult teams will have their first competitive fixtures next weekend, so we’re really gearing up for the new season. Our academy and nursery section our due back on 5 March, so keep an eye on https://eireoggreystones.com/juvenile-information-2022/ for final details of times which will be updated this week.

In order to limber up for the new season, we had a great turnout of camogie coaches during the week who were put through their paces ahead of the big off under the watchful eyes of Dave and Helen O’Regan.

O’Gorman Properties Team Up with Greystones Community College: Well done O’Gorman Properties for sponsoring GAA jerseys for Greystones Community College. We are delighted to support principal Rory and his team in promoting Gaelic Games in the school through our Games Promotion Officer, Kevin Spain. Great to see another secondary school in the town competing in Gaelic games.

Weekly lotto: You may have noticed some of the many improvements we’ve been making to our facilities in recent months. Inevitably, none of this is free. One way to support us is to play our weekly fundraising lotto. Last week’s winning numbers were 4, 16, 21 and 26. The weekly cash prize winners were Peter Lowe and Katie Killian. Operation Transformation: Be sure to tune in to next Wednesday’s edition of RTE’s Operation Transformation. Our club and our hardy team of walkers will feature. The camera crew were down filming our local team leader Odilie Agnini and the large numbers who’ve been featuring in the twice weekly walks.
